It has impacted my life a whole lot and made a soon to be BRAND.
My experience in SCTV was golden as it was filled with intense and practical knowledge of TV presenting. Most importantly, I learned how to embrace and be comfortable in my style of TV presenting /broadcasting. It was a pleasant experience.
Attending the SCTV presenter course was a conscious decision to invest in myself and my growth, a decision that was well worth it. From the warm, open and friendly atmosphere, to the amazing minds engaged in discourse, to the casual interactive classes with the phenomenal and brilliant Stephanie Coker and then on to the immediate feedback and constructive criticism... I learnt the crucial importance of research in journalism and perfecting your craft!
Thank you very much for the platform you provided for me and other participants of the SCTV Presenting Course. It was indeed a good experience. Before the training, I second guessed myself a lot but the two day training made me feel confident and closer to my dream. You paid attention to each of the participants and you allowed us make our mistakes while honestly correcting us. I am particularly better for it.
I have learned a lot in the past 2 days such as mic/hand coordination, composure and how to use a teleprompter. I now understand what it takes to be a TV presenter. I know I have I a lot of homework to do because I know what my weaknesses are and will definitely work on it.
